Programmer & Producer:

Chamber Music Series

London Philharmonic Orchestra chamber series
&
International Chamber Music Series at Southbank Centre

Over the past 5 years I have programmed and produced chamber music concerts in-house for Members of the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and on behalf of Intermusica and Southbank Centre for their International Chamber Music Series working with world-class soloists and ensembles from around the globe.

The London Philharmonic Orchestra partnership with Belmond: Exceptional Music in Exceptional Locations.

As part of my role at the LPO I programmed and managed two seasons worth of chamber concerts. These replaced our usual symphonic-scale offerings to our dedicated Eastbourne audiences while our regular venue was closed for refurbishment. These seasoned showcased musicians from our string, wind, brass and percussion sections and introduced these exceptional musicians to our audience in much more intimate setting. Alongside this, I teamed up with my Development colleagues to build a partnership with luxury boutique hotel chain, Belmond, taking world-class chamber music to their hotel locations around the world, including to Madeira, Iguassu Falls in Brazil, and Botswana. The programmes for each concert celebrated the unique locations we were in, my favourite of which resulted in an arrangement of Carnival of The Animals for wind quintet being performed on safari to a sunset backdrop of wild elephants.

In 2019 and 2020 I worked closely with the Southbank Centre programming future seasons of the International Chamber Music Series which they present with Intermusica Artists Management. As part of this I was developing a strand of work exploring the intersection of western classical chamber music with other global traditions, including music from Iran, South Africa and India. Sadly this strand of work had to be paused in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020.
