In 2018 I collaborated with a friend and colleague, Libby Papakyriacou to Executive Produce a Gala Fundraising Concert in aid of the Refugee Council’s Children’s Services. Together we oversaw every detail of the concert from conception to delivery, raising a net £37,500 for the charity and building relationships on their behalf with a number of high-level donors.

In addition organising the fundraising concert at Royal Festival Hall we also participated in music workshops delivered by Play for Progress at the Refugee Council’s Children’s Centre, and facilitated a pre-concert performance at the Southbank Centre by some of the unaccompanied young people seeking asylum in the UK who we were raising money to support. All the young people involved were given tickets to attend the concert and came backstage to meet some of the musicians involved.
